Television has become a lucrative medium for many Bollywood actors. After doing Roadies on MTV this year Bollywood beauty Neha Dhupia is all set to be part of TVand digital world. Her audio chat show will be launched soon. The show called #NoFilter Neha that will be going on air this October on Saavan. As the name suggests, it seems like an offshoot of Star Plus’ Koffee with Karan, the popular chat show with Karan Johar as a host. Incidentally, the first guest on the show will be Karan Johar. The show will have Bollywood A-Listers and Neha will grill them about their lives and controversies.
This is Neha’s first brush with the digital world and the producers of the show felt Neha had the perfect voice to make waves. Also, Neha has been part of the film industry for 10 years now and has worked with Bollywood biggies. The makers felt her face would bring in the brand value.
Neha shot for the campaign of the show and her hoardings with be out soon. Not many people know that Neha started her career in 2002 with a TV serial called Rajneeti that was directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and had Kay Kay Menon with her. Later, she won the Miss India title and started her journey as a model and film actress. After winning the beauty pageant, she made her debut with Harry Baweja’s Qayamat opposite Ajay Devgan in 2003. She was never a hit actress with blockbusters but Neha’s work was most appreciated by critics and audiences. Julie, Kya Kool Hai Hum, Garam Masala, Ek Chalis ki Last Local, Action Replay, Shoot Outat Lokhandwala, Singh is King and Chup Chup Ke are some of her known films. She always had a sexy and glamorous image and is known for films like Julie and Sheesha, where she did bold scenes.
Along with films, she has been a TV host and has hosted Comedy Circus on Sony TVas well. She made full-fledged inroads on TV last year with Roadies on MTV with Rannvijay Singh, Karan Kundra and Prince Narula. Neha’s spunky demeanour made her perfect for the adventure reality show.
